Our
Mission
The purpose of the Pewaukee Public Library is to provide our community with carefully selected books and
other materials to aid in the pursuit of
education, information, research, recreation, and the creative
use of leisure time.

The Pewaukee
Public Library is the joint library of the City and Village of
Pewaukee. Located at 210 Main Street, the doors to the 27,600
square foot facility opened in September, 2005. Library material is
located on two levels, with fiction, mystery, western, large print,
science fiction, and young adult print material on the main
level. The main level is also home to audio books, VHS tapes/DVDs,
music CDs, and an extensive children's library. The lower level
of the Library contains nonfiction books, magazines, newspapers,
reference material, information services, Internet computers,
study rooms, a photocopy machine, coffee bar, and administrative office.
The Library also has access to a collection of downnloadable
audiobooks and electronic books. Material can

online catalog. |

Information can be
obtained at the Library's Reference Desk, through the Reference
email service at
pwlib@pewaukee.lib.wi.us or via the
Ask Away virtual
reference service which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week. The Library
hosts a monthly book club, holds
adult programs on a
variety of subjects each month and provides material to
homebound patrons. |

Children's
services offers story times, summer reading programs, a monthly
Lego Club, homework help, reading lists and other
programming
to children, families, and young adults. |
