The Pewaukee Public Library Foundation (PPLF)
was created to help the Pewaukee Public Library provide the best
possible level of service to its community. Since its formation
its primary goal has been to assist in raising funds for the new
library facility. As of March, 2007 the PPLF has paid $184,067 toward
the building construction debt.
Some funds collected by the Foundation
have also helped to pay for:
Plants for the Rain Garden
The Ron Feuerstein Young Adult collection
Signage for the library
The Stars for the "Wall of Stars" Recognition Wall
If you would like more information on naming opportunities still
available, would like to make a donation or are interested in
joining the Foundation please contact us at
foundation@pewaukee.lib.wi.us.
If you are interested in other ways you
can provide a gift to the library such as a bequest through your
will or another from of estate gift, further information can be
found in our Planned
Giving brochure. |

A Letter from
the Foundation President |
| Dear Pewaukee Public Library
Patrons, My name is Melissa
Murray and I am President of the Pewaukee Public Library
Foundation. The Pewaukee Public Library Foundation
exists to financially support the Pewaukee Public
Library. Our new library is truly one of the jewels of
our community, and we are very proud of our beautiful
library facility. Through the join efforts of
government, businesses, philanthropic organizations,
civic groups, community leaders and hundreds of
citizens, our library is actively serving the needs of
thousands of library users like you.
In addition to the increased number of people who use
the library on a daily basis, the new Pewaukee Public
Library already has demonstrated its value in many other
ways:
|
|
¨ |
Members of local businesses and
organizations have made frequent use of both Community
and Visaya meeting rooms; |
|
¨ |
The Library rain garden offers a
unique learning center for ecology; |
|
¨ |
The Library has become a focal
point for fine arts and offers display areas for
community organizations. |
| |
We hope that you have had the
opportunity to enjoy some of the wonderful things our
library has to offer. We also hope that you consider
providing financial support for the continued growth
and success of the library. To remain a vital part of
the community our library must rely on the generosity
and support of the people it serves. While we share in
the benefits of our new library, we must also share in
the responsibility of maintaining this community
treasure.
For more information, or to make a donation to the
Pewaukee Public Library Foundation, please contact me at

at 262-691-5670 Ext. 20.
Very truly yours,
Melissa B. Murray
