Are you overwhelmed by the many chemicals in our food, clothing, household items, and more? Learn how to avoid chemicals in our everyday products!

Opioid Overdose Prevention Education & Naloxone (Narcan) Training
Wednesday, October 10th 6:30 – 7:30 pm
Learn risk factors leading to opioid misuse, the signs of opioid overdose and how Naloxone can prevent an accidental death caused by an opioid overdose. Those who attend the training will have the option to receive a Naloxone (Narcan) kit to take with them, free of charge. (while supplies last)

A Cup of Health
Tuesday, October 16th 10:00 – 11:00 pm
Join us for a monthly gathering to discuss health and wellness issues of older adults. Held at the Pewaukee and Brookfield Libraries, these sessions are presented by the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Waukesha County. Tuesday’s topic at the Pewaukee Library is Depression and the Older Adult. Depression is not a normal part of aging, yet as we age we may suffer and not realize it. Learn risk factors, signs, and symptoms as well as treatment options. Do you know the risk factors of depression in later life? Presented by Nancy Shea.

Haunted Road Trip with Allison Jornlin

Take a virtual road trip to the spookiest spots in Wisconsin! Allison Jornlin of is your intrepid guide to strange but true tales of ghosts, demonic possession, and monsters. Unmask Wisconsin’s weirdness just in time for Halloween.

Maximizing your Medicare Benefits
Wednesday, October 24th 1:00 – 2:30 pm
Learn more about your Medicare options. Come and get an overview of Medicare Parts A, B, C and D as well as supplemental insurance and an explanation of how they all fit together.  Learn about Medicare’s upcoming annual open enrollment period (October 15 – December 7) and how to receive unbiased assistance with plan comparisons.
