The 2019 Summer Library Program is here! Your Pewaukee Public Library offers Reading Clubs and FREE special events to keep kids learning and entertained during the summer months.  Reading Clubs for all ages give kids a chance to earn prizes for reading and doing other fun activities.

Our littlest learners from 0 to 3 can participate in the Early Literacy Reading Club – caregivers can sing, read, and talk with their little ones to complete activities together.  Pre-readers and readers (age 3 to grade six) will earn incentives by reading, creating, and spending time outside.  Kids can also participate in the Chapters for Change Reading Challenge, where reading can be done to raise money for the Pewaukee Food Pantry.

Special events that combine fun and learning begin the week of June 17th. More information can be found on our calendar of events.

Kids Who Read Beat Summer Slide. Studies show that access to books during the summer prevents a drastic loss in reading skill – especially for kids in need. (PRNewsFoto/First Book)
