Storytime (September-April)

The Pewaukee Public Library offers several different storytime options for young children and their caregivers during the school year (September-April).  Please note that our storytimes take place in four five-week sessions, and therefore will not necessarily take place every week.  Visit our calendar of events to confirm exactly when storytime is taking place.  Some storytimes require advance registration due to space restrictions.  Visit the calendar of events to sign up, or call the Children’s Desk at (262) 691-5670, Ext 932 for more information or for assistance in registering for one of these storytimes.

 

Preschool Storytime
Tuesdays, 10:00 am -or- 1:00 pm
Please pre-register; space is limited.

This storytime features stories, songs, crafts, and all kinds of fun for preschoolers ages 3 and older.

 

Library Babies
Wednesdays, 9:15 am
Thursdays, 11:15 am
Please pre-register; space is limited.

This lapsit storytime features activities, songs, and books for pre-walking and newly walking babies . Playtime and a chance for adults to socialize follows each storytime.

 

Toddler Storytime
Wednesdays, 10:15 am -or- 11:15 am
Thursdays, 9:15 am -or- 10:15 am

This lapsit storytime is just for children who are walking to 3 years old and features stories, songs, and activities for toddlers and their caregivers. Playtime and a chance for adults to socialize follows each story time.

 

Skills Lab
Fridays, 9:30 am
No registration required!

Get ready to learn!  Each week we will present stories and learning activities followed by a few hands-on projects that reinforce early math and reading skills.  Your child will learn a lot…and it will all be cleverly disguised as play.  This program is intended for children ages 2-5
