Please note that out of consideration for everyone’s safety, the Pewaukee Public Library will not be utilizing teen volunteers during the 2020 Summer Reading Program. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Summer is the library’s busiest time of year, and we always have need of several capable, trustworthy teen volunteers to help make our Summer Reading Program as success. Volunteers will be able to assist with special events and work on other projects. Many of the jobs we have for volunteers will involve interacting with younger children and/or their parents, while other tasks will be more behind the scenes.
All volunteers must be at least 14 years old before the end of the school year.
Anyone who is interested in volunteering during the summer must complete a volunteer application and attend an information session. At this session, interested volunteers can learn what will be expected of them when they volunteer and ask any questions they might have. Please see our Calendar of Events to see when an upcoming information session might take place (generally in late April and/or early May). If you cannot attend a scheduled information session, please contact the Youth Services Department to make alternate arrangements.
If you are looking for volunteer opportunities during other times of the year, please visit the library’s official volunteer page.
