Teen Summer Reading

The 2020 Teen Summer Reading Program is fast approaching!  Things are going to look a little bit different this year, but the Pewaukee Public Library is very excited to try some new things.  We hope that you are too!

The Summer Reading Program officially begins on Monday, June 15, and runs through Saturday, August 15.

Readers of all ages, including teens, can use an online program called Beanstack to track their reading as well as their participation in other activities this summer.  Teens can earn badges and free books as they hit certain milestones, as well as raffle tickets for the chance to win one of four prize packs.  You can also download the Beanstack app on your mobile device.

Beanstack is free and easy to use, and using this program means that there are no papers for you to keep track of.  You can report your reading and earn your raffle tickets from anywhere.  Please note that while a paper option will also be available to those who need it, the Pewaukee Public Library strongly encourages all library users to track their reading through Beanstack if they are able to do so.

Please visit our online calendar of events for more information about this summer’s special events.  All of our events will be virtual this summer for everyone’s safety.  Registration is required for all teen events; you can sign up through the calendar of events.
