The Teen Summer Reading Program begins on Tuesday, May 27.
Teens who participate can earn prizes (coupons for free food, free books, and raffle tickets) by logging the number of minutes they spend reading. Read whatever you want, all at your own pace! Teens can also earn additional raffle tickets for a chance to win one of our big prizes by writing book reviews, attending library events, or trying other activities this summer.
Everyone will track their reading through a service called Beanstack. Beanstack is free to use, and can be accessed through your web browser or through a free app on your mobile device.
Click here to visit Beanstack and join the challenge on or after June 12, or download the free app to your mobile device. If you have used Beanstack for a previous challenge, such as the 2023 Summer Reading Program, you do not need to create a new account. Please remember to also link your account with your Pewaukee School District Beanstack account to make your logging for both organizations easier. For more information on how Beanstack works, click here.
Please note that kids who will be entering 6th grade this fall have the option to participate in either the Kids’ Summer Reading Program, -OR- the Teen Summer Reading Program. On or after May 27, visit Beanstack and choose whichever program you think is the best fit for you.
In-person and Grab & Go events for teens will be happening all summer long! Please visit our Calendar of Events for the full descriptions of all events, or to sign up.
Thank you to all of the sponsors who made our Summer Reading Program possible.
